Our Friends at Wavefront Semiconductor have selected the DJDM tracks "Butterflied Eyes" and "Pillars of Versailes" for use in their demo of their brilliant new DICE II chip. More about DICE II from their site:

"The DICE II is a complete digital audio connectivity solution on a single chip. It has on-board 1394a link layer, ARM7 RISC processor, extensive GPIO, and a dizzying array of digital audio I/O including: I2S, AES3/SPDIF, ADAT Optical, TDIF, and a serial TDM DSP port. A pair of patented Jitter Elimination Technology (JET) PLLs provide jitter-free synchronization at up to 192kHz sampling rates in two separate clock domains. And a crossbar router in each clock domain enables any incoming audio channel to be routed to any output channel." More at Wavefront's site.

DJ Drunken Master Track "Chopper Pumps" to be featured in WB retail promotions at Best Buy in April

Warner Brothers will be using my track Chopper Pumps (play lo-fi play hi-fi) in a national Best Buy in store promotion for The Matrix Revolutions (release date is set for 04/06/04). That means if you happen into a Best Buy anywhere in the United States during the promotion you may subjected to Chopper Pumps thumping throughout the store. Hey, while you are there you should pick up The Animatrix, Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions (once it is released) which all feature tracks by yours truly in the bonus materials. (Right click and "save as" to Download your own copy of Chopper Pumps as a Weed file here)

DJ Drunken Master In "The Matrix Revolutions" DVD

The Matrix Revolutions. Some people love it, some hate it and others still don't quite know what to make of it. No matter what your position on the final Matrix installment I suggest picking up the DVD when it is available and watching the entire set of three films in order to get the full impact of the Wichowski's vision.

In an effort to assist you in your quest regarding all things Matrix I have a little information that may tip the scales if you are on the fence about watching "Revolutions" on DVD when it comes out.

The following DJDM tracks are now licensed to WB for use in the bonus materials for the upcoming DVD release of "The Matrix Revolutions" (Right Click and "Save As" to download your own copy of these tracks as Weed files):

1. Chopper Pumps

2. Selena

3. Pillars of Versailles

4. Butterflyed Eyes

5. Rip It Up, Tear it Down

6. Hot Smack!

7. Here Be Tigers

This puts the total number of unique DJ Drunken Master tracks licensed for the various Matrix productions up to 13 and it is (I hope) one more reason to see what Neo, Trinity, Morpheus & Agent Smith have in store on this final chapter of the trilogy.
